Half a century. That’s a serious innings for any industry and you can’t buy that kind of experience.
Trained at Lloyds of London and experienced garnered from the international market, Clive returned to South Africa and has created, grown, lead, managed and sold many successful brokerages. In 1983, he co-founded Associated Insurance Brokers, and sold it to Sanlam some thirty years later.
Not being one to rest on his laurels and driven by his passion for people, Clive set out to incorporate Insure Corp Brokers and deliver an innovation led insurance brokerage to the market.
Clive is the founding partner and CEO of Insure Corp Brokers.
Rob is a well-known and respected high-impact Entrepreneur. Rob co-founded the Integr8 Group in 2001. He is the Co-CEO of the group, which organically grew to employ over 550 people across multiple offices on the continent. Today the group operates closely aligned subsidiaries specializing in Technology, Property and Finance. In 2012, Integr8 IT (Pty) Ltd. (www.integr8it.com), the largest privately owned ICT managed services company on the African Continent as co-founded by Rob and part of the Integr8 Group, was sold out of the Integr8 Group to the Business Connexion Group. In 2015 Business Connexion (www.bcx.com) was sold to Telkom (www.telkom.co.za) in a R2.67b transaction. Rob continues to also act as Co-CEO of Integr8 IT (Pty) Ltd, which is now part of a 19,000 person R 32 billion enterprise.
Rob was invited as one of the youngest members ever, to be part of the global CEO network, Young Presidents Organisation (www.ypo.org) in 2003. He remains an active member today. He was also invited and remains active in the leading global network of high impact Entrepreneurs, Endeavor (www.endeavor.org)
Rob acts as mentor and advisor to numerous high tech global accelerators to include: Techstars (www.techstars.com) (as backed by Barclays), Seedstars (www.seedstarsworld.com) (as backed by Standard Bank) and LaunchLab (www.launchlab.co.za (as backed by Nedbank). He also serves as advisor to the R 17 billion Mergence group, with regards to their technology strategy and investments.
Through the Integr8 Foundation, Rob has numerous charitable initiatives.
Rob has been recognised globally on numerous occasions. Rob is a qualified Electrical Engineer who has been named as the Absa Entrepreneur of the Year, Africa’s leading Chief Information Officer of the Year multiple times over, the overall winner of the “Oscars of the ICT Industry” ICT Achiever of the year, one of the top IT Personalities of the Year and a leading Entrepreneur in the Ernst &Young Worldwide Entrepreneur of the Year.
With Robs passion for the industry, he continues with the deployment of entrepreneurial innovation with the ultimate objective to changing people’s lives. Setting out to build an award winning, highly respected, innovative long term company has been achieved, yet he believes that only now the platform for exponential growth is ready!
A Professor at the London School of Business describes him as ‘A Marketing Man & Master Deal-maker”. Through sheer grit & determination, Lance co-founded Integr8 IT from a tiny bedroom in 2001 to its glamorous headquarters today. At the recent Topco National Business Awards, the Oscars of SA Business, Lance won the prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year award, which was previously won by other business icons. He was also honoured as one of the top Entrepreneurs in the Ernst & Young Worldwide Entrepreneur of the Year awards, as well as being named one of the top IT Personalities of the Year. Lance’s entrepreneurial attitude has been one of the cornerstones of Integr8’s culture. Lance lives by his values.
